Direct Support Professional (DSP) Needed - York, PA 15 to 20 hours per month Payrate is up to 17.22 per hour A family in York, PA is seeking a reliable and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide occasional evening support to a young woman in her home. Coverage is primarily needed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings to ensure her safety, well-being, and successful completion of her evening routine while family members are away. Responsibilities Provide supervision and support to ensure the individual's safety and well-being. Assist with cleaning up after dinner, as needed. Prompt and support evening activities of daily living (ADLs), including: Brushing teeth (such as placing toothpaste on a toothbrush when needed) Changing into pajamas Other routine bedtime tasks as necessary Ensure the individual follows her evening routine and goes to bed at her scheduled bedtime. Remain awake, alert, and available to respond in the event of an emergency until family members return home. About the Individual The individual is a young woman with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) who is deaf and wears hearing aids. She has limited understanding of American Sign Language (ASL). There are no known behavioral concerns. Qualifications Experience supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to pass all required background checks. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Availability to work evenings on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Must be able to climb stairs, independently There are two dogs in the home Schedule & Compensation Approximately 15 to 20 hours per month Pay rate: Up to $17.22 per hour
