As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need of support. This position involves providing compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities to clients in various settings. You will work closely with clients to ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being while promoting independence. assistance with older autistic male

Saturday 1-5 Responsibilities Provide support with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs. The family is requesting that he is taken out for activities to keep him busy (go for French fries, bowling, arcade, movies, take him to eat, take him to the park, watch tv, and do games like puzzles) Feed him breakfast or lunch Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals and assist with medication administration when required. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties and ensuring hygiene standards are met. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and social interaction. Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide direct support for individuals with developmental disabilities or autism. Skills . Experience in group homes, assisted living, nursing homes, or hospice care is highly valued. Strong patient monitoring skills to observe changes in health status effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for client mobility assistance. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy. Familiarity with caregiving techniques for seniors and individuals with disabilities is essential. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
