Job Summary Join our dedicated team as a Home Health Aide & Caregiver, where your compassionate care and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance to individuals in their homes, supporting their health, safety, and well-being. Your energetic approach and commitment to quality patient care will help foster independence and comfort for those you serve. This paid position offers the opportunity to work closely with diverse populations, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring end-of-life care, all within a supportive and professional environment. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as toileting, feeding, and medication reminders Support clients with mobility transfers using patient transfer methods and equipment like Hoyer lifts or gait belts Administer medications following medical instructions while adhering to home healthcare regulations and HIPAA confidentiality standards Provide specialized dementia and Alzheimer's care, including memory care techniques and behavioral support strategies Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home healthcare agencies preferred Demonstrated ability to work with geriatric patients or individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia Knowledge of medical terminology, catheter care, wound management, and end-of-life care practices Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families while maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines Hands-on experience with patient transfer methods and mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts or gait belts Join us at Independent Health Solutions where we are "passionate about care and compassionate about people" supporting your growth through ongoing training opportunities while ensuring a respectful and rewarding work environment. Pay:
$16.50 - $18.50 per hour
