This role offers an energizing opportunity to make a meaningful difference, ensuring clients receive respectful, attentive, and professional assistance tailored to their unique needs. Whether assisting with daily activities or offering companionship, you will be a vital part of fostering independence and enhancing quality of life for those you serve. Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to promote dignity and independence. Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and encourage social engagement. Help with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, meal preparation, and medication reminders to maintain a safe and comfortable environment. Monitor clients' health status, report any changes or concerns promptly to family members or healthcare professionals. Support clients in managing appointments, transportation needs, and other community activities to foster active living. Follow care plans meticulously while maintaining clear documentation of services provided and client progress. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure a secure environment for clients and caregivers alike. Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for caring for others in their home environment. Ability to follow detailed care instructions and adapt to individual client needs with flexibility. Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with families, healthcare providers, and team members. Prior experience or familiarity with Level II trauma center environments, hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or post-acute care settings is highly valued. Knowledge of geriatrics, medical-surgical procedures, outpatient clinics, sub-acute care, and inpatient care enhances your ability to deliver comprehensive support. Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
CPR/ FIRST AID
Certification is required, we have an inhouse trainer for employees needing their CPR certification. Certification in caregiving or relevant health-related training is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is appreciated.
