Position Summary As a Caregiver/PCA, you will provide non-medical assistance and companionship to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate is dependable, patient, compassionate, and committed to treating every client with dignity and respect. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living Provide companionship and emotional support Assist with personal care according to the client's authorized care plan Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting as permitted by the care plan Assist with mobility and transfers when appropriate and within your training Prepare and assist with meals Perform light housekeeping related to the client's care Assist with laundry and maintaining a safe, clean environment Provide medication reminders as permitted Accompany clients to appointments or activities when assigned Observe and report changes in the client's condition or behavior to the appropriate supervisor Maintain client privacy and confidentiality Complete required documentation accurately Follow Kindred Hearts Home Care policies, procedures, and care plans Treat every client with compassion, dignity, patience, and respect Qualifications & Requirements Previous caregiving, home care, PCA, CNA, or related experience preferred Must be dependable, responsible, and professional Must demonstrate compassion and patience Must communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions Must be able to perform the essential duties of the position Must successfully pass a required criminal background check Must successfully complete all required pre-employment screening Must meet all applicable Tennessee requirements for employment in a non-medical home care agency Reliable transportation is preferred and may be required for certain assignments Must be willing to complete required agency orientation and training What We Look For At Kindred Hearts Home Care LLC, we believe caregiving is more than a job—it is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone's life.
