Direct Support Professional / Caregiver - PRN / As Needed Job Summary Love & Empowerment Support Services LLC is seeking dependable, compassionate, professional, and accountable Direct Support Professionals/Caregivers who demonstrate integrity and a strong commitment to person-centered support. Our staff may support children, adults, and aging individuals in their homes and communities, including individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, physical support needs, age-related needs, and other individualized care needs. Services are focused on promoting independence, dignity, safety, choice, community involvement, and quality of life. We are currently building our staffing pool in preparation for upcoming referrals. Hours and assignments will become available as individuals are referred and matched based on staff availability, location, experience, and the needs of the person supported. Responsibilities Provide person-centered support in the home and community

• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and personal hygiene as needed
• Support children with age-appropriate routines, activities, supervision, and skill development
• Assist adults with increasing independence and working toward personal goals
• Support aging individuals with maintaining routines, independence, safety, and community involvement
• Provide companionship, supervision, and emotional support based on individual needs
• Assist with shopping, appointments, recreation, social activities, and community outings
• Support individuals with goals identified in their Person-Centered Support Plan or authorized service plan
• Provide respite and dependable support to families and caregivers
• Assist with light household tasks related to the individual's support needs
• Provide transportation or accompany individuals to appointments and community activities when assigned
• Observe and report changes, concerns, incidents, or health and safety issues according to agency requirements
• Complete required service documentation accurately, honestly, and on time
• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, appropriate boundaries, and respect for individual rights
• Follow agency policies, DDA requirements, service plans, and individualized support instructions
• Communicate concerns, schedule changes, and important information promptly
• Take responsibility for assigned duties and follow through on commitments Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience supporting children, adults, seniors, or individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred
• Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional
• Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and ethical behavior
• Takes accountability for attendance, assigned responsibilities, documentation, and quality of support
• Maintains professionalism in communication, appearance, conduct, and interactions with individuals, families, coworkers, and community partners
• Respects confidentiality, professional boundaries, and individual rights
• Accepts feedback and takes responsibility for correcting mistakes
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record when transportation is required
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks, registry checks, orientation, and training
• CPR/First Aid certification may be required based on assignment
