This position requires driving and transporting clients in your personal vehicle. Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current auto insurance are required.

Hours:

Approximately 30 hours per week with opportunities for additional hours as caseloads grow. We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our team as a Community Integration Specialist / Direct Support Professional (DSP). Position Overview This position provides one-on-one support to individuals in community settings, helping them develop independent living skills, participate in community activities, and work toward goals identified in their Person-Centered Support Plan.

Important:

This position requires driving and transporting persons supported in your personal vehicle. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance are required. Key Responsibilities Transport persons supported safely to appointments, activities, and community outings. Assist with personal care and activities of daily living as needed Support persons supported in community activities, volunteer opportunities, recreation, and skill-building experiences. Teach and encourage independent living skills such as budgeting, communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and community navigation. Implement goals and supports outlined in the Individualized Support Plan (ISP). Promote dignity, choice, independence, and community inclusion. Maintain a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment. Communicate effectively with families, supervisors, and other members of the support team.
