Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide clerical and administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.
Duties:
  • Must have home health experience, check eligibility, and able to request for authorizations.
  • Manage all office functions and processes including clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and organizing documents.
  • Manage personnel records, medical records, office machines, and payroll, and assist in billing.
  • Oversees Agency communications including telephones, mails, and tracking physician orders.
  • Assist with customer support inquiries via phone and email.
  • Promotes compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Uses effective interpersonal relations and communication skills.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
  • Transcribe meeting minutes and other documents accurately
  • Ensure phone etiquette is professional and courteous
  • Assist with order entry and processing
  • Support office staff with various tasks as needed
Experience:
  • Proven experience in an office environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of clerical procedures and systems
  • Familiarity with home health receptionist duties is a plus
  • Proficient in data entry and order processing
