PineCrest, Lufkin's premier continuing care retirement community, is seeking a compassionate and dependable Resident Care Assistant to join our team.
Shift:
2 pm -10 pm What You'll Do As a Resident Care Assistant, you will: Provide compassionate resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff Assist with routine care needs while promoting dignity, comfort and independence Help residents adjust to changes related to illness and the normal aging process Build meaningful one-on-one relationships with residents Encourage participation in activities and help residents maintain their interests, abilities and independence Lead and coordinate engaging activities and programs Assist the care team with developing and implementing individualized care plans Bring patience, positivity and a genuine heart for serving older adults What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent preferred Two years of resident care experience preferred, ideally in a hospital, assisted living or long-term care setting Working knowledge of basic resident care procedures Basic computer skills A dependable team player who leads with kindness and professionalism Someone who models MRC's ICARE Values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence Why PineCrest?
