Full Job Description Job Title:
Home Health Office Assistant We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Home Health Office Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our home health team and coordinating Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) and Primary Home Care (PHC) for our patients. Spanish speaking skills are preferred as our patients are predominantly Spanish speaking.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the home health team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient files Coordinate Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for our patients and attendants. Assist with scheduling patient appointments and coordinating with caregivers and healthcare providers Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care plans, schedules, and medications Assist with insurance verification and billing processes Communicate with patients and their families to provide updates and answer questions Translate documents and assist with interpretation as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred Minimum of 1 year of administrative or customer service experience in home healthcare setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented and highly organized Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Spanish speaking skills preferred This is a full-time position with competitive compensation.
