•Weslaco Area Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate Home Care Aide to assist clients with daily living activities and personal care in their homes, following an established care plan. Duties and Responsibilities Provide in-home health care services to clients.
Perform basic household and domestic tasks.
Transport and accompany clients to medical appointments as needed.
Administer simple, prescribed medications.
Assist with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Monitor vital signs (temperature, respiration, etc.) and report changes in condition.
Support clients with mobility, physical exercises, and therapy activities.
Help maintain personal hygiene and daily routines.
Assist with cleaning, laundry, and general household upkeep.
Shop for groceries and household items; prepare simple meals (breakfast and lunch). Requirements and Skills Certified Nurse Assistant CNA preferred but not required.
Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or Provider preferred, but training is available.
Caring, dependable, and compassionate personality.
Must be 18 years or older.
Must be able to lift 20 lbs. or more.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
No minimum education requirement.
