Summary We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team at HomeWell Care Services. In this role, you will provide essential support and companionship to clients in their homes, contributing significantly to their overall well-being and quality of life. Responsibilities Assisting clients with personal care needs (bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing) Providing companionship and emotional support Preparing and serving meals according to dietary needs Assisting with mobility, transfers, and light exercise Medication reminders (as directed) Light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying up) Running errands or accompanying clients to appointments Monitoring client's condition and reporting any changes to the supervisor or family Requirements Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required (we provide training) Reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check Strong communication and interpersonal skills A caring, patient, and compassionate personality Pass a criminal background check (national and any required by state). Provide verifiable professional and personal references.
