What You'll Do As a Direct Support Professional, you'll support adults with developmental and physical disabilities in a supported living home by: Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and mobility Preparing healthy meals and helping maintain a comfortable home environment Supporting medication administration according to care plans Monitoring health and reporting any concerns Encouraging independence while helping clients achieve their personal goals Taking clients t, recreational activities, and community outings Participating in fun activities and helping clients stay socially engaged Completing documentation and incident reports accurately Performing light housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean home Providing positive behavioral support when needed Completing other duties that help our clients succeed We're Looking For Someone Who Is Compassionate and patient Dependable and responsible A strong communicator Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Passionate about helping others reach their full potential Requirements Must be at least 18 years old Valid driver's license Reliable vehicle with full-coverage insurance Must pass a background check CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler certifications must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment Must be comfortable driving clients Part-Time Monday
