Job Description

Leap Care, LLC is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide person-centered support to individuals receiving services through DBHDS-licensed programs. DSPs play a vital role in supporting daily living, health and safety, skill development, and community engagement while promoting dignity, respect, and independence. Responsibilities Provide direct support services in accordance with each individual's Individualized Service Plan (ISP) Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, meals, mobility, and personal care Support individuals with independent living skills and community participation Implement behavior support strategies and safety plans as directed Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, and overall well-being Complete required documentation, including daily notes and incident reports Administer or assist with medications if trained and authorized Transport individuals to appointments and community activities using a personal vehicle Respond appropriately to emergencies and crisis situations Maintain confidentiality and protect individual rights Participate in required trainings, meetings, and supervision Requirements High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle (required) Current auto insurance Ability to pass criminal background, Adult Protective Services (APS), and Child Protective Services (CPS) checks (as applicable) Ability to complete DBHDS-required training within required timeframes Reliable, professional, and able to work independently Preferred Qualifications Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities Behavioral health or human services experience CPR, First Aid, Medication Aide, or TOVA certification (or willingness to obtain) Schedule Flexible scheduling available Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required Work Location In-person Community-based settings Pay & Benefits Competitive hourly pay: $19.00-$21.00/hour Training provided Meaningful, purpose-driven work Equal Opportunity Employer Leap Care, LLC is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status.
