Duties Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Support individuals with medication administration following proper protocols and safety procedures Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or memory impairments through tailored activities and behavioral management strategies Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to assist with resident transfers and mobility Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary plans and assist individuals during meal times Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks and adhering to infection control standards Transport individuals to and fro community activities. Ensure the safety of individuals at home and in the community. Skills Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly valued Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's care, and memory care techniques Ability to perform safe patient lifting practices and manual handling with heavy lifting when necessary Strong communication skills for effectively engaging with clients, families, and team members Familiarity with home & community care practices and long-term care environments CPR and First Aid certification to respond confidently in emergencies Experience working with individuals with disabilities or cognitive challenges is preferred Ability to operate a standard passenger car for client transportation or errands when required Join us if you're passionate about caregiving and eager to support individuals in achieving their best quality of life.
