We are currently looking for capable and reliable workers who have a genuine interest in caring for seniors and others in need of assistance. The ideal candidate possesses the following: Caregiver's license or certificate from the State of Virginia CPR and First Aid certified Access to a reliable transportation Smart Phone Negative PPD within 30 days of hire Ability to work independently with a positive attitude, and great communication skills Ability to perform light housework, prepare meals, run errands, etc. Ability to pass Criminal Background & Drug Free Lifestyle\ Ability to read, write and converse in
English License:
Driver's License (Required) Caregiver's Certificate (Required) First Aid and CPR (Preferred)
Duties:
Reading, writing, and carrying out directions Charting or taking notes for others to review Providing companionship and supportive listening Reporting changes in the health or status of the client Taking vitals, height, and weight Feeding clients Transporting client to appointments Facilitating community and recreational outings, including transport Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities
