In this vital role, you will provide respectful, attentive assistance to promote independence, safety, and well-being within various care settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, mental state, and overall condition; report changes promptly Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Use proper patient transfer methods and manual handling techniques, including Hoyer lifts and patient transfer devices Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and ensuring proper infection control practices Document care provided accurately in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards Qualifications Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health care preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer's disease), memory care, and neurodevelopmental disorders Familiarity with care plans, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and patient personal care assistance Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and patient transfers using Hoyer lifts or other equipment Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance training are highly desirable Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams Join us to provide exceptional caregiving that enhances quality of life.
