Direct Support Professional (DSP) / PCA / NA Private Residence | Flexible Part-Time Opportunity A private residence is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and responsible Direct Support Professional (DSP), Personal Care Aide (PCA), Nursing Assistant (NA), CNA, caregiver, or retired healthcare professional to provide support and direct supervision to an individual with developmental and/or physical disabilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others, values independence and dignity, and is looking for a flexible, long-term part-time position in a comfortable home environment. Responsibilities Provide direct support and supervision in a private home setting Assist with activities of daily living and personal support needs as required Encourage independence, participation, and appropriate decision-making Support safety and overall well-being Provide companionship and encourage meaningful activities Follow the individual's person-centered support plan Assist with meal preparation and household tasks related to the individual's needs Communicate appropriately with the individual, family, and care team Complete required documentation and daily notes Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Compassionate, patient, dependable, and trustworthy Comfortable working independently in a private residence Experienced in healthcare, caregiving, mental health, developmental disabilities, or direct support Interested in developing a positive, long-term working relationship Willing to learn and follow the individual's established support plan Retired healthcare professionals, CNAs, NAs, PCAs, experienced caregivers, and DSPs are strongly encouraged to apply. Requirements Candidates must be willing to complete: TB Screening Criminal Background Check Required provider training CMRT Certification Adult First Aid/CPR with hands-on training Most required training is provided online and will be arranged for the selected candidate. Schedule & Hours Part-time Approximately 8-20 hours per week Flexible scheduling based on the individual's needs and staff availability Ideal for someone seeking supplemental income, a second job, or a flexible position Opportunity for a long-term working relationship What We Are Looking For The right person should be someone who genuinely enjoys helping others and understands the importance of patience, consistency, respect, dignity, and independence .
