In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with mental health and substance use disorders, assisting them in daily living activities and promoting their wellness and recovery. Your commitment to patient care and ability to work collaboratively within a team will be vital in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. Responsibilities Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, scheduling appointments, and organization. Provide patient monitoring and observation to ensure safety and well-being. Implement care plans tailored to each individual's needs and preferences. Support residents in meal preparation and cooking, ensuring nutritional needs are met. Maintain a clean and safe living environment through regular cleaning and organization. Administer medications as prescribed, adhering to HIPAA regulations. Engage residents in social activities, promoting interaction and community involvement. Document vital signs and any changes in residents' conditions accurately. Skills Ideal candidates will possess a combination of the following skills: First Aid and CPR certification. Experience in group homes or assisted living settings. Strong background in patient care, confidentiality, and boundaries Familiarity with counseling services Ability to work effectively with individuals and diffuse conflict Proficient in patient observation, monitoring vital signs, and administering medication. Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with residents.
