Shift:

Friday, Saturday & Sunday 3p-11p Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility support using proper manual handling techniques such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods. Monitor patient health by observing for changes in condition, and reporting findings according to HIPAA regulations and care plans. Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and document all medication administration in compliance with HIPAA standards. Support clients during meals by meal preparation, feeding assistance, and ensuring nutritional needs are met while maintaining a clean and safe environment. Engage with clients through meaningful communication and activities that promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and ensuring adherence to health standards. Observe patient behavior closely for signs of distress or changes in condition such as depressive behaviors; document observations thoroughly. Uphold residents' rights by respecting privacy, promoting independence, and fostering a supportive community atmosphere. Qualifications Prior experience working in in- homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and first aid/CPR certification is essential. Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or neurodevelopmental disorders is highly valued. Familiarity with care procedures such as Hoyer lifts, patient transfers , manual handling techniques, and assisting with ADLs is required. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members while respecting residents' rights and confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work flexible hours including evenings or weekends. A caring attitude combined with patience and resilience to handle challenging behaviors associated with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
