Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, grooming, dressing, and hygiene Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, administering medication, and reporting changes to healthcare teams Support residents during meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs while ensuring dietary restrictions are followed Operate patient transfer equipment such as Hoyer lifts and assist with mobility to promote safety and independence Maintain clean and safe living environments through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization of resident spaces Follow care plans meticulously, documenting observations and updates in compliance with HIPAA regulations Provide transportation assistance for appointments, outings, or community activities as needed Skills Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques and monitoring vital signs Experience with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and neurodevelopmental disorders support Proficiency in medication administration, first aid, CPR, and manual handling techniques including heavy lifting Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Skilled in assisting with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meal prep, and personal care assistance Knowledge of patient transfer methods including Hoyer lifts and patient transfer techniques Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities support needs Capable of performing light housekeeping tasks like cleaning and maintaining a safe environment Join us to make a meaningful difference every day!
