Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant (PCA)/Nurse Aide/Home Health Aide (HHA)/ Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) who have reliable source of transportation in Ruther Glen, Spotsylvania, Thornburg, Stafford, Fredericksburg, and Ladysmith to provide exceptional support to individuals in various care settings. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their well-being through personalized care. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring dignity and respect at all times Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, patient behavior, and overall condition; report any concerns promptly Support medication administration following prescribed care plans and HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality and safety Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Facilitate patient transfers using manual handling techniques such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods to ensure safety for both clients and caregivers Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces Provide transportation assistance for medical appointments, errands, or community activities, ensuring client safety during travel Skills Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or in senior care environments such as assisted living or nursing homes Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and hospice support to address specific needs of vulnerable populations Proficiency in patient observation, monitoring vital signs, and recognizing signs of distress or deterioration Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately while respecting residents' rights and privacy under HIPAA guidelines Skilled in assisting with ADLs through manual handling techniques like Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams Certification in CPR and First Aid to respond confidently during emergencies Experience in home health or community care environments is highly desirable for providing comprehensive support Join our team to deliver compassionate caregiving that truly makes a difference!
