Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant to support a non-verbal autistic individual with daily routines, personal care, communication, and meaningful activities. The ideal candidate should be vibrant, patient, attentive, and comfortable working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities . This role involves providing individualized support while promoting independence, dignity, safety, and quality of life. The aide should be comfortable using patience and creativity to engage the individual in activities they enjoy, recognize and respond to non-verbal forms of communication, and provide consistent support throughout the day. The ideal candidate should enjoy working with teenagers/young individuals, be dependable and encouraging, and bring a positive attitude to each shift. Experience working with autism or individuals who are non-verbal is preferred. This position is a non-smoking position. Candidates who smoke or use tobacco products are not preferred for this role.
