At Atlantic Homecare Services, you'll provide one-on-one care for older adults in the comfort of their homes. You'll have the opportunity to build real relationships, develop your skills, and make a meaningful difference in each client's daily life. We offer both temporary and ongoing assignments throughout Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and Norfolk. A variety of shifts may be available, allowing us to help match you with opportunities that fit your experience and availability. What you'll do Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and other daily-living needs Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, as needed Provide medication reminders in accordance with the care plan Offer companionship, encouragement, and meaningful conversation Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and Hoyer-lift use when needed Support light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, comfortable home Encourage prescribed physical and cognitive activities that promote wellness and help reduce fall risk Observe and report changes in a client's condition to the care team Complete accurate, timely care documentation What you'll bring At least one year of home-care experience preferred Current CPR/BLS certification Negative TB test results Hoyer-lift experience preferred Ability to meet background-screening requirements Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk area A dependable, professional, compassionate approach to care Strong communication skills and respect for client dignity Benefits Flexible scheduling Health insurance for eligible employees Paid time off for eligible employees Referral program If you're a CNA or Personal Care Assistant seeking more connection, more purpose, and flexible home-care opportunities, apply today.
