Direct Support Professional Responsibilities:

Familiarize and follow all policies and procedures per Policy and Procedure Handbook Participate in Staff meetings as required Carry through with tasks as assigned by their supervisor As guests in the client's home, DSPs will behave in a manner respectful of the client's home Encouraged to participate in, and teach their clients all tasks associated with running a typical household, promoting client independence. Work with clients on their IISP goals as outlined in the IISP Maintain awareness of each client's location at all times Engage in pro-social behavior and use appropriate language when in the company of their clients. As Mandated Reporters, DSP's will report suspected abuse to the appropriate authorities, per Mandatory Reporting Policy Assist in administration of client medications Complete all applicable paperwork, including
