Job Description

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with diverse needs, including those with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal care and hygiene
  • Implement individualized care plans and behavior support strategies
  • Support individuals in community integration and social activities
  • Administer first aid when necessary
  • Provide emotional support and companionship
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for individuals
  • Assist with meal preparation and medication administration
  • The ability to work one respite Saturday per month.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to drive a transport van
  • Ability to pass WI caregiver background check.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in caregiving, nursing homes, or related fields preferred
  • Familiarity with working with people with autism or developmental disabilities
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Certification in First Aid/CPR upon hire
  • Comfortable using systems for documentation and reporting
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to drive a transport van
  • Ability to pass WI caregiver background check.
