Direct Care Assistant Job Summary:

Home Helpers of Martinsburg is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Assistant to join our team of caregivers in Martinsburg, West Virginia. As a Direct Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to seniors and individuals in need, helping them maintain independence and dignity in the comfort of their homes.

Responsibilities:

Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry Help clients with medication management and administration Encourage and support clients in maintaining their physical and mental well-being Maintain accurate and timely records of client care and services provided Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans
