Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Clinical Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in laboratory procedures, specimen handling, and medical terminology, with a focus on maintaining accuracy, safety, and compliance. As a Clinical Laboratory Technician, you will perform assigned laboratory testing and specimen-processing activities within documented education, training, competency, and CLIA personnel requirements to support accurate, reliable, and timely patient results. Responsibilities Conduct laboratory tests using established techniques such as blood analysis, urinalysis, and microbiological assays while adhering to CLIA regulations. Collect and process specimens through venipuncture or other methods, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring cleanliness and proper calibration for accurate test results. Manage biological samples efficiently, including storage, data entry, and disposal following safety protocols. Document test results accurately and communicate findings clearly to provider teams. Communicate critical, unusual, delayed, or corrected results according to established procedures. Follow laboratory safety, biohazard, infection-prevention, privacy, and waste-disposal requirements. Skills Proficiency in laboratory management practices and laboratory techniques across various testing modalities. Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques, specimen collection/processing, and biological sample management. Familiarity with CLIA regulations governing clinical laboratories to ensure compliance. Competence in phlebotomy and venipuncture. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and clinical confidentiality policies. Ability to work efficiently within a multidisciplinary team in fast-paced environments. Strong communication and organizational skills. Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
