Scheduled shift would be Monday thru Friday 11 am to 7:30 pm. Responsibilities Accepting water, wastewater, and solid samples from clients, couriers, and shipping agents. Assuring samples are received within proper temperature, preservation, and container guidelines. Entering sample information/required analyses into our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Dividing, labeling, and delivering samples to proper storage refrigerators, storage areas, or analysts. Preparing sample containers and client bottle orders. Working as a liaison with clients and laboratory project managers. Skills Prior computer usage in a commercial/business setting. Attention to detail; ability to follow standard operating procedures. Ability to interact with clients and staff members in a professional manner. Solid written and verbal communication skills Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise Excellent organizational skills Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks Customer service attitude College degree.
