Type:
full-time As a Pump Division Laborer, you can expect to work on teams of 2 to 3 members. Projects include in town and out of town locations in Central and Southern California. Tasks include driving pump rigs and service trucks to and from jobsites, pump and well repair, chemical rehabilitation of wells, test pumping and other miscellaneous services. Employees are required to stay out of town as needed and close to the job site and will receive a per diem allowance.
Tasks and responsibilities may include:
Assist the operator running pump hoist rigs, service trucks, forklifts and other equipment Installation and removal of line shaft and submersible turbine water well pumps Maintain detailed records-daily work, vehicle and safety reports All phases of commercial, industrial and municipal well work including turbine and submersible pump work/well rehabilitation CDL license A(preferred) or B (hazardous endorsement preferred or attainable) Manual Required Crane Certification (preferred or attainable) Job physical requirements: Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen (DOT) Must be physically fit, capable of lifting 100lbs, and should expect to work in all weather. Must be able to work out of town Possess good work ethic, speaking skills, and basic math skills Ability to work safely and perform long hours as needed Must be dependable, responsible, able to work well with others, follow directions and work orders Wages and Benefits (depending on experience)
• Pump Helper $26-$27.50/Hr Regular Wage
• Prevailing Wages (project specific determined at bid date), up to $48/hr before fringe benefits detailed by the project. Overtime and per diem 401K matching Pension Plan Health, Dental and Vision Employee is 100% covered by Best Drilling. Other Dependents covered at 50%. Additional information can be provided.
