This is a hands-on position for someone who is technically capable, detail-oriented, comfortable working with laboratory and mechanical equipment, and interested in learning new technologies and processes. Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain laboratory test equipment and experimental systems.
  • Collect samples and perform routine water-quality and laboratory analyses.
  • Measure parameters such as conductivity, TDS, pH, turbidity, hardness, alkalinity, and other relevant water-quality indicators.
  • Prepare samples, solutions, standards, and reagents for laboratory testing.
  • Accurately record test conditions, analytical results, observations, and experimental data.
  • Assist engineers and scientists with experimental programs, product testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Clean, inspect, assemble, and maintain laboratory and test equipment.
  • Perform routine calibration and maintenance of analytical instruments.
  • Support production activities, including material preparation, coating, assembly, inspection, testing, and quality control.
  • Assist with incoming material inspection and quality testing of finished products.
  • Maintain laboratory supplies, chemicals, components, and consumable inventories.
  • Follow established SOPs, safety procedures, and quality-control practices.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory and production environment.
  • Assist with preparation of equipment and materials for field and customer testing as needed. Required Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in chemistry, engineering, environmental science, materials science, biology, biotechnology, or another science or technical discipline; or equivalent relevant laboratory or technical experience .
  • Hands-on experience working in a laboratory, production, testing, quality-control, or similar technical environment.
  • Comfortable working with laboratory instruments, mechanical equipment, pumps, tubing, fittings, tools, and test setups.
  • Ability to accurately prepare solutions, handle samples, take measurements, and follow written procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate data collection and documentation.
  • Basic computer skills, including Excel or similar tools for recording and organizing data.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new equipment, testing methods, and technical processes.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating effectively with a technical team.
  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-moving development and production environment. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with water-quality testing or water chemistry.
  • Experience with reverse osmosis (RO), nanofiltration (NF), ultrafiltration (UF), or other membrane technologies.
  • Experience operating membrane test cells or water-treatment equipment.
  • Familiarity with membrane performance measurements such as flux, permeability, salt rejection, recovery, fouling, or scaling.
  • Experience with industrial water treatment, desalination, or wastewater treatment.
  • Experience with coating, chemical processing, materials manufacturing, or similar production processes.
  • Experience with laboratory quality control, manufacturing QC, or analytical instrumentation.
What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is hands-on, careful, dependable, and eager to learn . You do not need to be a membrane expert—we can teach the membrane technology. What matters most is that you are comfortable in a laboratory and production environment, can follow procedures accurately, work safely with equipment and chemicals, keep good records, and take ownership of getting the work done correctly. This position offers direct exposure to laboratory R D, product development, manufacturing, and field deployment of an emerging water technology.
Pay:
$25.47 - $30.68 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
