DOE Temp-to-hire Job Summary:

We are seeking a Composite Technician to perform processing and characterization of composite materials in a Technical/R&D lab. This temp-to-hire role works under the direction of engineers, ensuring product quality, process accuracy, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform composite processing tasks: Layup, Kitting, Bagging, Curing, Machining . Operate lab and processing equipment including Autoclave, Vacuum Oven, Furnace, and Machining tools . Conduct lab-scale resin mixing and coating trials . Perform physical, mechanical, and analytical testing , maintaining accurate records. Utilize Microsoft Office (Excel, Access) for documentation and reporting. Maintain lab housekeeping and follow all Health, Safety, and Quality policies . Assist in process improvement and support team workflow as directed.

Qualifications:

1-3 years of composites processing or machining experience preferred. Analytical lab or quality testing experience a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions. Team player with good communication skills.
