3:30 PM Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Entry-Level Laboratory Technician to support aerospace product testing in a laboratory environment. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, have strong computer skills, and are comfortable following detailed procedures. The Laboratory Technician will perform stress and durability testing on aerospace components, accurately document test results, and maintain precise records within the company's database. Essential Responsibilities Perform stress, durability, and mechanical testing on aerospace components and materials. Set up and operate laboratory testing equipment according to established procedures. Monitor testing throughout each cycle and observe product performance. Accurately record test results, measurements, and observations into the company database. Document pass/fail results, defects, and testing outcomes with a high level of accuracy. Follow detailed work instructions, engineering specifications, and testing protocols. Prepare samples before testing and organize completed test materials. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, quality control, laboratory testing, or production is preferred but not required. Comfortable working with computers and entering data accurately. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions. Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn laboratory equipment. Preferred Experience Experience documenting test results or inspection findings. Experience using Microsoft Excel or data entry software. Experience with stress testing, quality inspections, or product testing. Familiarity with measuring equipment or laboratory instruments is a plus. Aerospace or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift. Lift up to 30 pounds as needed. Perform repetitive hand movements while handling test samples. Ability to distinguish defects and record detailed observations accurately.
