Traveler-Friendly Opportunity Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for a 13-week travel assignment in Holyoke, Colorado. The ideal candidate will work as a Laboratory Generalist and play a vital role in delivering accurate and timely diagnostic testing to support patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced laboratory professionals looking to expand their skills in a collaborative healthcare environment while enjoying the flexibility of a travel assignment.

Responsibilities:

Perform laboratory testing and analysis across multiple disciplines, including: Phlebotomy Chemistry Hematology Urinalysis Blood Bank Serology Microbiology Collect and process patient specimens accurately and efficiently. Maintain quality control standards and ensure compliance with laboratory policies and procedures. Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment. Document and report test results in a timely manner. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and treatment. Participate in on-call rotation (approximately 1 day per week) and provide weekend coverage (1 weekend per month, as needed).

Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field. ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification preferred. Previous experience working as a Medical Laboratory Technician/Generalist preferred. Strong knowledge of laboratory practices, safety standards, and quality assurance procedures. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
