Duties Collect and process specimens including blood, urine, and tissue samples, ensuring proper labeling and handling in accordance with aseptic techniques Perform laboratory tests using established procedures and techniques, maintaining accuracy and quality control standards Handle venipuncture (blood sampling) and phlebotomy procedures with professionalism and care for diverse patient populations including pediatrics and geriatrics Enter data accurately into Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems while maintaining confidentiality Monitor vital signs and assist with patient care activities as needed during specimen collection or testing processes Follow safety protocols such as Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff Maintain laboratory equipment, prepare reagents, and ensure compliance with hospital policies on specimen collection, processing, and storage Skills Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and clinical laboratory practices Proficiency in phlebotomy, venipuncture, blood sampling, and specimen handling with aseptic technique Familiarity with hospital workflows, EMR/EHR systems, and data entry protocols Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse age groups including pediatrics and geriatrics Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and clinical laboratory standards Ability to lift heavy objects safely when handling specimens or equipment; physical stamina for long shifts involving standing or walking Experience in blood sampling, specimen collection/processing, vital signs measurement, and patient care activities Join us in making a difference by providing precise laboratory services that support exceptional patient care.
