Perform laboratory testing on rubber/elastomer materials and finished products supporting aerospace, defense, and medical applications .

Requirements:

2+ years of manufacturing experience; rubber manufacturing/processing preferred . Associate's/Bachelor's in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related field preferred; significant rubber experience may substitute for degree . Ability to follow ASTM and MIL test procedures . Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, computer, and communication skills.

Preferred Equipment Experience:

Rubber molding press and 2-roll mill. Instron Universal Test Stand, DMA, durometer, densimeter, and Rubber Process Analyzer. Temperature chambers, ovens, brittleness testers, and shaker systems.

Responsibilities:

Perform mechanical/material testing and execute test plans. Analyze data and prepare test reports. Support product development, qualification, troubleshooting, and quality control. Maintain lab equipment, calibration schedules, supplies, and testing schedules. Work independently and with cross-functional manufacturing/engineering teams. #

GRPA Pay:
