- You will prepare and evaluate cubicle qualification samples (Tab samples) Further you will also prepare and evaluate sample parts and customer hardware (Part cut ups) and prepare and evaluate physical properties (e.g. Hardness
- Micro and Macro) You will perform set-ups, and operate a variety of standard lab equipment, while adhering to prescribed methods of operation You will calibrate and maintain lab equipment is required in this role Moreover you will order all Met Lab supplies including polishing suspensions, grit paper, etc.
You will perform quality evaluations of standard coatings in a timely manner, identifying problem areas and reporting results to appropriate individuals You will keep accurate record keeping for all of the above What makes you great A High School Diploma / GED is required in this role You must be able to complete Linde Metallurgical Technician Training and maintain certification Further you must be able to perform quality evaluations of standard coatings and basic investigations into metallurgical issues at a level typically acquired through a minimum of 5 years' related lab experience Moreover you must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends and holidays as needed Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong written and verbal communication skills is required Ability to pass a vision test Why you will love working with us Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2025 sales of $34 billion.
