Laboratory Technician Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to support our laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will follow basic instructions carefully, pay close attention to detail, and perform routine laboratory tasks accurately. This role involves assisting with sample preparation, data recording, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment to ensure the smooth functioning of laboratory activities. Duties Follow established procedures and instructions precisely to conduct laboratory tests and experiments. Prepare samples and reagents as directed, ensuring proper labeling and handling. Record data accurately during experiments and maintain detailed logs of all activities. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the laboratory workspace. Calibrate and operate basic laboratory equipment according to guidelines. Report any discrepancies or issues encountered during procedures to supervisors promptly. Support inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying when replenishments are needed. Skills Ability to follow simple instructions carefully and consistently. Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks. Good organizational skills for maintaining records and lab space. Basic understanding of laboratory safety protocols.
