Responsibilities In this role the Medical Laboratory Technician will perform the following job duties: Work closely with a Laboratory Technologist in the performance of diagnostic procedures. Perform procedures as efficiently and expeditiously as possible. May exercise limited independent judgment and work under the supervision of a Laboratory Technologist, Supervisor or Director.
Qualifications Education/Training Required:
Certificate training program at an approved school for Medical Technician level training leading to state licensure
Preferred:
Associates Degree in
MLS Licensure/Certification/Registration :
Current Florida License Laboratory Clinical Technician (TC) or eligibility for licensure
Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:
Required:
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand
English Preferred:
Previous laboratory experience
