Share Job Description:
The Department of Animal Science at Berry College is looking to hire a Graduate Assistant for the 2026/2027 Academic Session. Application preference will be for students completing Berry College's two-year MBA program, but candidates completing the one-year program are also welcome to apply. The Graduate Assistant will work for the Department of Animal Science. The work will include supervising the Animal Science laboratories, tracking the material inventory, and assisting in multiple Animal Science courses. The assistance for the animal science course will consist of animal handling, preservation, and maintenance of anatomical specimens; biohazard waste management; collection of fluids and specimens used during laboratory sessions; supervision of undergraduate student workers; preparation of materials for laboratory sessions; and support during the instruction of laboratory sessions.
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree and farm experience are preferred. All interested candidates are encouraged to apply, but please note that applicants must be accepted into Berry's MBA program before a formal job offer can be extended or accepted.
