Required Qualifications and Experience:

Current certification or eligibility as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist from a recognized credentialing body (ASCP, AMT or equivalent) Proven experience or formal training working as a Laboratory Technician in a clinical setting Proficiency with laboratory procedures, instrumentation, and quality assurance protocols Ability to conduct a wide array of diagnostic testing including hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, and more Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure the highest standard of accuracy and compliance Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals Flexibility to adapt to evolving patient care requirements and lab priorities

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and specialized laboratory analysis on patient specimens, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment, following all safety and quality guidelines Properly document and report findings, adhering to institutional and regulatory policies Support quality control, troubleshooting, and corrective actions when necessary Participate in ongoing training and maintain knowledge of emerging best practices in laboratory medicine Ensure that all workspaces are clean, safe, and well-stocked with necessary supplies
