Schedule:

2nd shift, M-Th 3:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m Salary range : $19/hr. - $22.5/hr. (depending on experience) Summary The Laboratory Technician will support operations within genotyping laboratories on a 2nd shift schedule. This role may involve working across multiple laboratory areas. Job Description Support daily laboratory operations and activities. Receive and organize incoming samples. Maintain adequate labware and laboratory supply inventory. Prepare buffers and reagents. Operate and troubleshoot equipment used in genotyping productio n. Review and update task-related documentation. Rotate across Chipping, Extraction, and Detection laboratory areas as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly workspace. Follow ESH guidelines, SOPs, and workflow procedures. Collaborate with system support teams, research personnel, and other functions. Manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Skills Required Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Strong attention to detail. Ability to operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment . Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to follow established procedures and safety guidelines. Ability to work effectively with multiple supervisors and cross-functional teams. Education/Training/Certifications High School Diploma or GED Laboratory-related education or experience preferred. Training will be provided as needed for laboratory processes and equipment. Additional Requirements 2nd shift schedule: Monday through Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Willingness to rotate across Chipping, Extraction, and Detection laboratory areas.
