Job Description
Part-time position (48 hours/2-week pay period) Two 12-hour shifts, 6:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m. Shift includes rotating holidays Benefits eligible, PTO, IPERS Obtain specimens and maintain specimen equipment Perform complex medical laboratory tests for diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease Analyze laboratory findings to check accuracy of the results Enter data from analysis of medical tests and clinical results into computer for storage Operate, calibrate and maintain equipment used in quantitative and qualitative analysis Excellent interpersonal skills and professional patient interactions Complete clerical duties involving the laboratory May travel to other departments and community to collect specimens
