Flexibility may be required based on laboratory activities and business needs Position Overview The FSQ Microbiology Analyst performs microbiological testing and related laboratory activities in accordance with approved methods, laboratory procedures, and

ISO / IEC 17025

principles . This role supports day-to-day laboratory operations by ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant execution of microbiological analyses, maintaining data integrity, supporting laboratory programs, and escalating deviations or atypical results to laboratory leadership. Two opportunities are available, providing the opportunity to align responsibilities and experience level with the needs of the laboratory. Key Responsibilities Laboratory Operations

+ Perform microbiological testing of raw materials, semi-finished products, finished products, and environmental samples using validated laboratory methods.

+ Perform quantitative and qualitative microbiological analyses in accordance with approved procedures and

ISO / IEC 17025

principles.

+ Support daily microbiology laboratory activities, including:

+ Sample receiving and handling

+ Sample preparation and homogenization

+ Media preparation

+ Microbiological testing

+ Plate reading and colony counting

+ Data entry and result submission

+ Laboratory sanitation

+ Participate in laboratory task or "bucket" rotations supporting routine activities and workflows.

+ Follow laboratory SOPs, approved methods, safety procedures, and established quality requirements.

+ Maintain accurate and complete laboratory records and documentation. Technical & Project Support

+ Support laboratory process, project, and continuous improvement activities as assigned.
