Buffalo Grove, Illinois job type: Temporary salary: $20 - 30 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors responsibilities: Perform precise physical and mechanical testing on medical devices using specialized analytical equipment. Analyze test data to ensure full compliance with strict specification limits. Document findings accurately according to quality management standards and regulatory requirements. Assist in developing and implementing new testing methods and laboratory protocols. Report deviations or out-of-specification results and assist with root-cause follow-up. Maintain laboratory equipment, manage consumables inventory, and ensure proper lab hygiene.

qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline. Hands-on experience working in a laboratory setting. Proficiency with MS Office Suite. Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team.

Preferred:

Direct experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry. Familiarity with FDA regulations and ISO standards. Equipment troubleshooting and maintenance capabilities.
