Job Description
BISCO, Inc., a leader in innovative healthcare solutions, seeks an R D Technician for our Laboratory Services team. In this role, you will support research and development of advanced dental and medical materials by preparing samples, running experiments, and operating analytical instruments. You will accurately record and analyze data, assist in validating new formulations, and help maintain GLP/GMP-compliant lab operations. Prepare samples and reagents for R D experiments in laboratory services Operate and maintain laboratory instruments (e.g., spectrophotometers, mixers, ovens, balances) Execute test protocols for dental and medical materials under GLP/GMP guidelines Record, analyze, and summarize experimental data with high accuracy Assist in formulation development and product performance testing Follow ISO 13485 and lab safety procedures, including proper handling of chemicals Calibrate and troubleshoot basic lab equipment as needed Collaborate with scientists and engineers to refine test methods Maintain clean, organized workspaces and inventory laboratory supplies Contribute to continuous improvement and documentation of R D processes Laboratory techniques (wet chemistry, sample prep) Operation of analytical instruments (e.g., spectrophotometry) Data recording and basic statistical analysis GLP/GMP compliance ISO 13485 or medical device quality systems Materials testing (mechanical/physical testing) Technical documentation and reporting Chemical handling and safety procedures Basic formulation and mixing techniques Use of LIMS or electronic lab notebooks Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k ASCP certification (preferred) Certified Lab Technician (preferred) GLP/GMP training
