Laboratory Technician We are seeking a Laboratory Technician for an on-site temporary assignment in Willow Springs, IL, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role. This full-time position follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and supports laboratory operations through accurate testing, careful specimen handling, and consistent quality control practices. The role is suited to a candidate with post-graduate education and at least one year of laboratory experience who can work with precision in a structured environment. The selected candidate will contribute to daily testing activities, help maintain equipment readiness, and support the team in meeting operational standards. This position offers varied job activities and a stable daytime schedule in a professional laboratory setting. Full-time hours are scheduled Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The pay rate is $35 per hour for this on-site laboratory technician role. What You Will Do? Perform laboratory testing according to established procedures, ensuring accurate and consistent results. Handle specimens carefully throughout receipt, processing, and preparation to maintain sample integrity. Carry out equipment calibration and basic readiness checks to support reliable laboratory operations. Follow quality control procedures and report any irregularities that could affect test accuracy. Maintain detailed records of testing activities, specimen handling, and quality control observations. Work closely with team members to support efficient daily workflow and timely completion of assignments. Your Skills You have laboratory testing experience and can follow procedures with consistency and precision. You understand proper specimen handling practices and can protect sample integrity at every stage. You can assist with equipment calibration and recognize when equipment requires attention. You demonstrate strong attention to detail when completing tests, documenting results, and reviewing work. You are familiar with quality control expectations and can support accurate laboratory output. You work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with coworkers. Interested?
