5×8-hour shifts with rotating weekends (every other weekend) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join a hospital clinical laboratory team on a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical laboratory skills, attention to detail, and prior travel experience. Responsibilities Perform a variety of clinical laboratory tests, including hematology, chemistry, immunoassay, urinalysis, coagulation, and other routine laboratory procedures. Accurately process, prepare, label, store, and analyze patient specimens according to established protocols. Operate automated laboratory instruments and perform manual testing, quality control, calibration, and troubleshooting as required. Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure test results are reported appropriately and within established guidelines. Follow all laboratory safety, infection-control, specimen-handling, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate effectively with laboratory staff and other healthcare professionals. Float within the hospital as needed to support laboratory operations. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of clinical laboratory experience. Previous travel experience is required. Active Louisiana state license or CLS certification required at the time of submission. Strong experience with hospital clinical laboratory procedures. Experience with automated analyzers and manual laboratory testing. Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced laboratory environment. Interested? !About Pride:
