Job Description
Job Description The lab technician will be responsible for performing a variety of geotechnical testing on soil, rock and construction materials in a laboratory environment. Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- NICET certification or ACI certificationis a plus, but not required.
- No prior experience required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions, can work independently, and also as part of a team.
Typical duties:
- Perform geotechnical testing, including soil classifications, compaction, moisture content, Atterberg Limits, Sieve analysis, permeability, and other standard tests.
- Prepare samples for testing and maintain accurate records of all test results.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe laboratory environment.
- Follow all quality standards, safety procedures and company policies.
