Junior Lab Tech Location:

Gretna, Louisiana 70053 — 100% onsite

Contract:

~ 6 Month (With possibilities of extensions based on performance and business needs) Bachelor's degree — mandatory in

Chemistry or Biology Schedule:

Regular:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday, 10:00 PM-8:30 AM

Training:

Monday-Friday, 7:00 PM-3:30 AM

What the candidate will do:

Operate G C/MS (Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer)

Operate

LC-MS/MS

Perform confirmatory testing on non-negative test results

Follow SAMHSA mandatory guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements

Perform QC duties

Work in a toxicology laboratory environment

Work 40 hours/week, with overtime over 40 hours paid at 1.5×

Must-Haves:

Bachelor's degree — mandatory

Degree specifically in Biology, Chemistry, or equivalent related field

Experience/knowledge with G C/MS

Experience/knowledge with

LC-MS/MS

Laboratory/testing experience

Ability to work the overnight schedule

Willingness to work onsite in

Gretna, LA Pay Range :
